I DIG MY FINGERNAILS INTO THE EARTH WHILE SPEAKING AND WEEPING
it’s a party we rub
ashes all over the other’s body
only the good know
flung green wilderness
it is the sound of goats talking
foolish autumn cicadas frantically crusting our porch
near oleander & pulpy fat
watermelon seeds spit the answer
is quiet robber take what you will
with vengeance our flesh remembers
this gorgeous!
it’s a golden crown
and it’s grand
when i lay my ear close to the abyss i can hear its
vigilance
katy keep the door
HIGH UP FLOATING LANDSCAPE TOY
priestess i carry you
uncombed
through smoke
and trees and myth
using wings known as bonds
how well the whole house griefless
door table
our azure and green couch
all those old things
what bitter my heart
achilles is not a god i see
the hideous noise of his cry
guard me against that spring
its twittering chattering
scraping gutting hush
of a blue-throated bird
the one-eyed goat knows i try
to hide my loneliness worn river rips open
my reflection gives birth
lynx leopard tiger
mole pig
and is forgotten
